Where are your products made?
When we first started Lapanda, we searched far and wide for an Australian manufacturer who could meet our expectations at a price-point that would be fair to consumers. Unfortunately, the way the manufacturing industry is structured here in Australia, it makes it nearly impossible for small-scale, bespoke items to be manufactured at a price that is not prohibitive to the end consumer. After careful deliberation, we hand-picked a few international manufacturers in China who possessed the expertise to satisfy our rigid quality demands and shared our core principles of waste reduction and sustainability.
Where is the bamboo used in your products sourced from?
Our bamboo is sourced from plantations in China that comply with sustainable farming practices. Since our bamboo is sourced from managed plantations, we have ensured that we are not competing with animals that rely on bamboo as a food source. We chose bamboo because it is one of the world's most abundant and sustainable natural resources.
Do you ship your orders plastic-free?
Absolutely! We've partnered with the team at "Hero Packaging" to eliminate plastic waste. Every order from our store will be delivered in one of their compostable courier satchels. We aim to reuse as much packaging as possible from our suppliers to ensure nothing goes to waste. Our business cards are also made out of 100% recycled paper.
What currency is used on the Lapanda website?
All prices on our website are displayed in Australian Dollars (AUD). Your bank will convert the total amount charged on your statement to your local currency. The final amount is only an estimate and excludes any taxes, duties, levies or tariffs that may be imposed. Lapanda cannot be responsible for these additional charges.
How do I change or cancel my order?
If you need to cancel or make changes to your order, please email firstname.lastname@example.org within 2 hours of making your purchase. Ensure you include 'Change of Order' or 'Cancel Order' in the subject line of your email.
What if I made a mistake in my shipping address?
If you have made a mistake in your shipping address, please email email@example.com within 2 hours of making your purchase. Ensure you include 'Change of Address' in the subject line of your email and provide your full name, order number and corrected shipping address.
